The EU welcomes the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia to “Steps towards better future”. The statement made by Federica Mogherini`s spokeperson says that the package of proposals received by the Government of Georgia for the purpose of promoting trade, education and mobility for the population living on both sides of the administrative division is fully compatible with the policy that has been implemented within the EU.
The European Union is waiting for the final decision on this issue from the Parliament of Georgia.
